Founded in 2006 by Jenny Hensman, Mind the Gap Africa was born to give orphaned, abandoned or abused children in Zimbabwe a safe and loving environment to grown up in.
The Harvest Family Village was created to provide this safe space where children can live, grow and be nurtured. The village and team ensure each child reaches their full capacity giving them the skills to see them into adulthood. Harvest Village now houses 22 children and we are continuing to build to give a safe place for up to 96 children.
Mind the Gap Africa speak out on behalf of children and young people who have no voice and are a resource for local organisations who are able to care for these children.
